Felice Gums pursued her Bachelor of Arts in English from Georgia State University and graduated with a focus on Creative Writing. She is originally from Austin, Texas and writes African American women's fiction. Her client list reflects her interest in works which straddle the line between commercial and literary genres. She is most interested in works of a multicultural nature, novels that speak to deep cultural roots and experiences of any ethnicity such as Jhumpa Lahiri's Unaccustomed Earth or Junot Diaz's The Brief and Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao as well as mature works of African American fiction such as Bebe Moore Campbell's Brothers and Sisters. She also seeks commercial, women's, urban and African American fiction, and is a huge fan of chick lit. |
