Response Letters

One thing that sets About Words Agency apart from other literary agencies is our dedication to nurturing our authors throughout their career and even lending assistance to those writers whose novels are not yet ready to be signed to an agency. With this in mind, About Words writes free and personalized query evaluation letters to the authors of manuscripts that show definite promise but are not yet ready for publication. These letters are intended to assist the author in their editing process, pointing out places where their manuscript could use work and a few suggestions for how to go about doing so. We have gotten numerous positive responses to this endeavor, which only serves to strengthen our belief that such assistance really can be a help to new authors. Here are a few of our most recent letters:

Thank you so much for the review of the first chapters. I have actually been spending quite a bit of time re-writing and looking at those very things. I appreciate the amount of effort put into the query review and I really want to thank you. I know the market usually doesn't allow for such a close critique and I found it very helpful. I will take you words to heart and continue editing…

Thank you,

Linda Foster
